Does it matter what order the names occur in referring to the title of the trust? For example, if the notarized trust is actually titled "Jane Anne Doe and John Boy Doe Revocable Trust" is it okay to transfer assets and use either "Jane Anne Doe and John Boy Doe Revocable Trust" OR "John Boy Doe and Jane Anne Doe Revocable Trust" (interchangeably)?

Dear Lori43,

The trust must be all the times referred to as it was acknowledged and registered.
E.g.: if the trust has been set up as "Mary Poppins and Tinker Bell Trust" you must not call it "Tinker Bell and Mary Poppins Trust".

Please note that Legal Helpmate is not a law firm and we do not give legal advice to the public.

Best regards,
