Dear Mary Ann,

That is true that you may sign a Prenuptial Agreement at any time prior to your wedding day, but it is always better to sign it a little earlier then one or two days before the wedding and let both partners to review the agreement carefully.

We would like to inform you that there is case law in MA that suggests that if a prenuptial agreement is signed immediately prior to the wedding that could be evidence of duress. Therefore, it is obviously better to take care of your Prenuptial Agreement in advance.

Please be informed that Legal Helpmate is not a law firm and we do not give legal advice to the public.

Best regards,

Legal Helpmate Corp.
