How would one fund personal items for which purchase receipts are not available?

Dear Leon2,
We understand that you want to transfer personal (tangible) property to your living trust. If so, why do you need receipts for these items?
In your Living trust you only list the items you want to convey to the trust and state that you transfer all of your rights, title and interest in such property to the trust.
Of course, you have to be the legal owner of transferred chattel, and it must be free from claims or liens.
We would help you better if you provide us with more information.
