Power of Attorney >> Granting Broad Powers >> What happens with POA if a principal has died?

#6, posted 28 Jan 2022 7:48 am by Jojo42 words
I am confused and having trouble deciding, which type of Power of Attorney to use: Durable, Non-Durable or Springing.

What type of them allows me to continue to manage principal’s property and banking accounts when the principal has died?

Thanks a lot!

Dear Jojo,

Please be advised that any Powers that the Principal grants in a Power of Attorney cease to be effective upon Principal’s death.
