Above 730: Excellent credit. 700 - 729: Good credit. You can easily obtain financing at the best rate available on the market; you can get approved for a credit card online in a few seconds. 670 - 699: Creditors will want to take a closer look at your file but overall you project an average risk. You still can be approved, but not at the lowest rate. You can get credit cards, loans, mortgages and lease but at a higher rate than someone with very good creditworthiness. 585 - 669: You are a higher risk. This means you will not be eligible for the best rates. You may have trouble getting approved. The creditor might ask you to get someone to co-sign for you. Below 584: Poor credit risk. Unless you have something else to offer creditors - like good collateral - you will likely be turned down for most credit/loans. You need to pay off your debt as much as you can.
