According to Arkansas law, any individual 18 years of age or older and of
sound mind may execute a declaration governing the withholding or withdrawal of life-sustaining treatment.
It also defines other health care treatment decisions that can be made on your behalf.

|
|
You have the right to make decisions about your health care. No health care may be given to you over your objection, and
necessary health care may not be stopped or withheld if you object. You may use the living will declaration as part of or instead
of a health care power of attorney or to a surrogate.
