According to Kansas law, an adult persons have the fundamental right to control the decisions relating to the rendering of their
own medical care, including the decision to have life-sustaining procedures withheld or withdrawn in instances of a terminal condition.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Kansas Law allows for both a Durable Power of Attorney for Health Care Decisions and a Living Will Declaration. You may use either or both of these forms.
No health care may be given to you over your objection, and necessary health care may not be stopped or withheld if you object.
