According to Maryland Health Care Decisions Act, any adult (or an emancipated minor) who has decision-making
capacity to deal with future health care issues may execute a written instructions authorizing the provision, withholding, or withdrawal
of health care, sometimes called a decisional directive or living will.

|
|
You have the right to make decisions about your health care. No health care may be given to you over your objection, and
necessary health care may not be stopped or withheld if you object.
