According to Utah law, a person 18 years of age or older may execute a Health Care Directive. The Directive is binding upon attending physicians and all other providers of medical services.
|
|
|
|
|
An advance medical directive is any written instructions concerning the making of medical treatment decisions on behalf of the
person who has provided the instructions. You have the right to make decisions about your health care.
No health care may be given to you over your objection, and necessary health care may not be withdrawn or withheld if you
object.
According to Utah law the directive shall be in substantially statutory form or in a form substantially similar to the form approved by prior Utah law.
