My question is:
"Is there any way to get a divorce if niether has lived in the state for one year?(Ct). Is there a way to get legally seperated? We've only lived in ct for a few months."

The following information is provided for informational purposes only.
Based on our understanding of the laws of Connecticut you have to be a resident of the state for 12 months on the date of divorce. That does not mean that you have to be a resident of CT by the time you file a petition for divorce but you need to reside in CT by the time the final decree of divorce is entered.
On the other hand, Connecticut law of divorce and separation (Conn. General Statutes, paragraph 46b, Chapter 40) does not mention residency requirement for a separation.
