Hello, My mother in-law is in the hospital dying and has granted her daughter (wife's sister) POA but has since rented a car with her mothers money and bought all sorts of gifts, she also has a drug problem and has been unemployed for over 3 years. How do we go about protecting her from such abuse she's been unconscious for 3 weeks and what kind of lawyer would we need? We appreciate any and all help we could get, Thank you. (State of California, County of Riverside)
